Spring Fitness Program

The South Boston Leadership Initiative will be hosting a  Spring Fitness Program to be held at Farragut Park, and will meet every afternoon, Monday thru Thursday, outside of the Murphy Rink. The program is free and open to anyone between the ages of 12-18. Highlights include:

 

  • 7 weeks (May 21st – July 5th)
  • Monday through Thursday
  • Group 1: Ages 12-14 (4:00-5:00pm)
  • Group 2: Ages 15-18 (5:00-6:00pm)

 

This specialized program, led by an experienced staff, will look to use fitness and nutrition as a means of instilling healthy lifestyles to the youth in South Boston. While focusing on everything from flexibility to nutrition to sport-specific weight training, each participant will improve not just physically but mentally as well as we head into the Summer months. Farragut Park should provide the perfect setting to enjoy a successful Spring!
